Cheesecake, Love, and Murder! Book 1 in the Holly Hart Cozy Mysteries!

It’s the Grand Opening for Holly Hart’s new business, Just Cheesecake. When footprints in the frosting lead to a body facedown in one of her cheesecakes, Holly becomes a prime suspect.

With her opening day delayed, Holly deals with a nosy no-good reporter and the local cop, the handsome Officer Trinket, as she puts her sleuthing skills to the test to save her business and her name. With the help of her dog, Muffins, she needs to find the real murderer, before the killer looks to frost someone else.

It was an enjoyable read. No blood and guts or car chases. It’s a nice cozy murder mystery. 😊
  • Very Poor

This book was ridiculous from start to finish. Utterly boring most of the time but just plain ridiculous. The grammatical errors were constant, the plot poor and one of the worst books I’ve read recently. Don’t waste your time on this one.
  • Good mystery

The writing is confusing. No background information, very disjointed until almost the end of the book. I had to keep reading to see if it got better. It did right at the end. I don’t know if I’ll read anymore of these books. Gave me a headache trying to figure out the plot.
  • Cute story

Well written story. Clean and appropriate for all ages. Has some numerous spots. Characters are well developed and yet suspense lasts throughout the story.
