"The sleeper hit of the pandemic . . . . There is no escapism like reading about a nearly middle-aged woman embarking on a glittering, global love affair with a thoughtful young sex god . . . . It's electric, triumphant to read." —

"An OMG page-turner." —Gabrielle Union

Solène Marchand, the thirty-nine-year-old owner of an art gallery in Los Angeles, is reluctant to take her daughter, Isabelle, to meet her favorite boy band. But since her divorce, she’s more eager than ever to be close to Isabelle. The last thing Solène expects is to make a connection with one of the members of the world-famous August Moon. But Hayes Campbell is clever, winning, confident, and posh, and the attraction is immediate. That he is all of twenty years old further complicates things.

What begins as a series of clandestine trysts quickly evolves into a passionate and genuine relationship. It is a journey that spans continents as Solène and Hayes navigate each other’s worlds: from stadium tours to international art fairs to secluded hideaways in Paris and Miami. For Solène, it is a reclaiming of self, as well as a rediscovery of happiness and love. When Solène and Hayes’ romance becomes a viral sensation, and both she and her daughter become the target of rabid fans and an insatiable media, Solène must face how her romantic life has impacted the lives of those she cares about most.

It’s real. It’s heartfelt. It’s emotional. I hope the author writes a sequel!

Love this book but the ending seems rushed to me. I need a sequel to tie up the loose ends

This book was so good I finished it in 2 days. I struggled to move on to another book because I didn’t want to be disappointed when it wouldn’t be as good as this one. It made me so happy and sad at the same time. Their captivating love is all consuming.
  • Where’s the rest??!!

I loved the story, the characters and the writing!! No complaints!! But where’s the rest??? That’s it? No prologue? No follow up?? I don’t need a happy ending, just let me know what happens to them. This needs a sequel... PLEASE
  • The Idea of You

First time reading this author. Even though I knew how this story would end, all the five star reviews convinced me it would be worth my tears. I usually stick to funny and HEAs to escape the country’s turmoil. This author is an excellent writer, I would most certainly read her again. A sequel would be great, even knowing there could be no other ending. I would like to know they both eventually found happiness, but still lived in each other’s hearts, giving me my HEA. 🥲

I know you’re busy, but.... would love to hear more from your voice. Thanks for some respite from this Groundhog Day nightmare. Plus, I miss Michelle and Barack, good taste and good times at the White House and, oh, maybe, some competence. Your loyal readers await.
  • We need a sequel 😭😭😭

I made it through 92% of this book in one weekend, but I couldn’t will myself through the last 8% knowing that there wasn’t a sequel out as of when I was reading. It took me about two weeks to finally make myself finish the story. Robinne Lee, please write a sequel to this.
  • So good I didn’t want it to end!
