Do you ever suspect that everyone else has life figured out and you don’t have a clue? If so, Rachel Hollis has something to tell you: that’s a lie.

If you have ever said any of these things to yourself . . .
Something else will make me happy.I’m not a good mom.I will never get past this.I am defined by my weight.I should be further along by now.
. . . then you could benefit from the unflinching faith and rock-hard tenacity Rachel Hollis has in store for you. In this challenging but conversational book, Rachel exposes the twenty lies and misconceptions that too often hold us back from living joyfully and productively, lies we’ve told ourselves so often we don’t even hear them anymore.

Rachel is real and talks about real issues. More than that, she reveals the specific practical strategies that helped her move past them. In the process, she encourages, entertains, and even kicks a little butt, all to convince you to do whatever it takes to get real and become the joyous, confident woman you were meant to be. Because you really can live with passion and hustle – and give yourself grace without giving up.

  • Not worth the buy

This book just rehashes all of the other self-help books out there. It’s almost like a copy & paste but in a different “voice”. Save your money and get a licensed therapist before you take advice from this person. This book will do more harm than good. Seriously, just look at the drama and stunts she does on social media that has her losing followers. It is not respectable. I promise that you will have better luck speaking to someone who is licensed than to take advice from this book.
  • Lacks depth

I feel like this is comparable to any mainstream “self-help” book you can get out there. Jotting down a few ideas and telling readers to “go for it!” is not substance in today’s messed up society.
  • Definitely worth while

If you are searching for inspiration please read this through! It is so inspirational about how to teach yourself that excuses will not get you anywhere. Thank you for this book!
  • Helpful and Encouraging

Great book throughout, really some gut punching lines in there but felt a bit rushed at the end.
  • Life Changing in Every Way Possible

I bought this book at 2am a few nights, bored, and unable to find the remote. I’ll be honest I had low expectations and thought it would be a corny book for teenagers. This book was nothing short of life changing, every chapter every story it was all beyond realistic and relatable, it makes you feel human and even better it makes you want to be a better human for yourself without the lecture or the pressure but solely from her words. I can’t tell you the last time I actually read a book from start to finish and now I could read this over and over, absolutely life changing.

A total waste of time and money. Not one new idea or concept. Easy reading, a few jokes, and a lot of bragging! I always finish a book, this is the exception. So boring. Just awful!
  • Everything you need to hear

Do yourself a favor and read this book. It had me smiling, laughing and crying throughout the chapters. Stop what you’re doing and read it!
  • Just like any other book

This book was OKAY a lot of these types of books literally always say the same things. I picked it up because it was so popular but yeah not worth the read I didn’t bother finishing it but I did read like 3/4 of it.
  • Rachel Hollis is Amazing

    By Inspired_Ashley
I have not picked up a book in at least 4 years because of the daunting task of getting my degree and working full time but now I’m so glad that I have the time to read again. This is the first book I bought and read cover to cover and it had every word God needed me to hear in this moment of my life. Her writing style is amazing and inspiring, it made me want to keep reading through my breaks at work and always squeeze in a few extra minutes at night reading as my eyes were closing but I just didn’t want to stop. I encourage anyone at any walk in their life to read this book! So amazing. I’m definitely going to read it again and I’m buying “Girl Stop Apologizing” right now.
