  • Predicable and way too simple

    By BigGasGuzzler
This should be characterized as a teen novel. The plot is predictable and thin, the characters flat and undeveloped, and the dialogue trite. I don’t recommend it for science fiction fans.
  • Surprising and good

    By lizardgg
Love following the story from the child’s perspective. Surprising turns that are exciting.
  • Thought it would be interesting

    By Little gardener4570
The overall premise had me intrigued, but the characters and plot lack depth. I’ve enjoyed other books from this author, but this one seams to be written for children. The dialogue and vocabulary are simplistic; perfect for an 8 to 12 year old. I was expecting more.... That said, it is a great book for kids. It has all the elements that kids love.
  • Interesting premise but can’t get over the age of the protagonists

    By athalya
I thought the overall idea was interesting but it bugged the hell out of me that the protagonists were supposedly kids. The way they talk is totally unrealistic for their age, which makes me wonder: why bother? Maybe the author was targeting a teen audience. It’s an easy read but I’ll stop on book two... I’ve had enough.
  • I want to meet you

  • Ok in a cheesy way.

Weird but good enough to keep you reading.
  • Transmission

This is more of a YA book, but this adult enjoyed it so much I bought book 2. Too bad we have to wait until November for book 3. I might add that I’ll check out more of Ms. Rices’ other works as I so enjoyed this one.
  • Interesting

This book has a very interesting concept. It seemed very short. It was an intriguing book to read.
