Millions of readers have fallen in love with Ava's bestselling books...come join the family with this feel-good page-turner that will inspire you to never let fear stop you from finding love.

International Bestselling Author Ava Miles kicks off her new series with an irreverent hero, two well-intentioned matchmakers, and a heroine as beautiful as a wild Irish rose

Trevor Merriam doesn’t like being ordered around by his older brother, much less to a sleepy Irish village to complete a business deal for their family company.

Worse: the owner of the land he needs to buy doesn’t want him there. In fact, Becca O’Neill loathes him so much that she won’t even serve him the award-winning scones her famed Wild Irish Rose Bed and Breakfast is known for.

Even worse than that (and not getting scones is bad in Trevor’s book): Becca has an ornery cat, a mischievous Irish setter, and a lovesick alpaca that delights in chasing him around. Then there’s the woman herself. If she weren’t so indignant about his business offer, they might have a good romance budding.

Worst of all: his Uncle Arthur and Aunt Clara Hale show up from Dare Valley hoping to help him get hitched—not exactly the help he was looking for.

How in the world is he going to make this deal with his heart—and his dignity—staying intact?

  • Amazing book

This story really drew me in with how much love and emotion was shown. The only thing i would change is the epilogue. This may be a personal opinion but I HATE when authors don’t give a real epilogue and it’s just a plug for their next book. At least give me some closure about the characters I’ve fallen in love with, and then you can give a taste of your next book, that’s all I ask.
  • Good story line

Great story. However, the term “what with...” was highly over used.

Page 14: He knew enough about ANATOMY to know the dog was Horu and the cat was Hatshep. ANATOMY?? UGH try ancient history! Completely turned me off from the book.

Loved this book. One of the bet i have ever read. It has humor, love, sadness, family and an alpaca. Wonderful writing about being human.

This is the first Ava Miles books that I haven’t loved. As a matter of fact, I almost quit it several times & that’s a rarity for me. It did pick up some toward the end, but not enough for me to recommend it to anyone. Another unpleasant surprise for me in one of Ms. Miles books was more graphic sex scenes. I had come to expect better from her.
  • Heartfelt Read

Ava Miles has written another wonderful book! Wild Irish Rose is the first book in Ava Miles’ The Merriam’s series which presents the story of Trevor Merriam and Becca O’Neill. Becca owns the Wild Irish Rose Bed and Breakfast whose scones are well known. Trevor is sent by his brother to attempt to purchase the property for a business deal. Becca refuses sell the property which is where this story begins. I recommend this story of tragedy and survival with its heartfelt characters and a plot with its strong emotions, humor, and sweet romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As a huge fan of Ava Miles, I was so excited to see a new series in Dare Valley! I was not disappointed at all. I feel in love with Trevor and Becca right from the beginning. Arthur and Clara are a wonderful addition to the story! As with all of Ava's stories, I adore how she intertwines love, humor and family values. You will also come to adore this story as well.
