She hid my daughter from me. Time to pay the price.

She was the best thing I ever let go.

Nothing compared after Stella Hayes – no matter how much I drank, how many women I f**ked, how much money we raked in… she was branded in my mind.

But I can’t go back to her. Not now. Not ever.
Because I left for one very, very good reason:

To keep her safe.

But when club business brings me back to my hometown and forces me to confront the past I left behind, I discover that all those old emotions are still there.

Especially when I find out that Stella has been hiding the daughter I never knew I had.

Break my heart once, shame on you.
But break my heart twice?
Shame on me, and all the other stupid decisions I made in the process.

I loved Gabriel Prince. He was all I ever wanted.
And then, just like that, he vanished without a word, and left me to pick up the pieces.

And raise our child… alone.

I wasn’t going to let that stop me, though.
Gabriel didn’t need to know about our daughter.
Hell, he didn’t deserve to know. especially because I thought I’d never see him again.

But three years later, he’s back, and all those stupid decisions I made are coming back to haunt me.

It only takes one touch for me to give into his temptation – over and over and over, until I’m screaming his name.

This is the first book in the Anvil Series by Kathryn Thomas.

Really good story line. It makes you wonder what is going to happen. Will she really forgive him? Will they become a happy little family?

I really enjoyed Book One of ANVIL and I'm looking forward to finding out what's going to happen next with her characters. Ms.Thomas's writing style is very exciting. She paints a picture in your mind (with her words )that are so vivid, that it's like watching a movie. PS. My husband is also enjoying the benefits of my reading this book . 😉
  • Good Story... Major Ciffhanger

Ok story, not sure where it's going to go. Disappointed with all the editing errors. I was not thrilled with the old lady biker woman Gabriel had sex with...tacky. However, I'm willing to read on for free.

  • Good storyline but you need a better editor

The editing of their series of books at times makes it difficult to read. Missing words, words in the wrong places, wrong he/her word in places. It makes the reader have to stop and figure out what you mean it to say so not smooth reading. Good storyline though and good characters!
