Description

The Gray Man's search for missing intelligence agents plunges him deep into a maelstrom of trouble in the latest entry in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.

The first agent disappearance was a puzzle.

The second was a mystery.

The third was a conspiracy.

Intelligence operatives around the world are disappearing. When a missing American agent re-appears in Venezuela, Court Gentry, the Gray Man, is dispatched to bring him in, but a team of assassins has other ideas. Court escapes with his life and a vital piece of intelligence.

Meanwhile, CIA agent Zoya Zakharova is in Berlin. Her mission: to infiltrate a private intelligence firm with some alarming connections. The closer she gets to answers, the less likely she is to get out alive.

Court and Zoya are just two pieces on this international chessboard, and they're about to discover one undeniable truth—sometimes capturing a king requires sacrificing some pawns.

The Gray Man comes to the rescue of lesser talents and again demonstrates his outstanding skills. The adventures and exciting escapes always keep you speed reading through the book. Are there anymore villains yet to be conquered?

Interesting but drug out longer than needed. Unhappy with ending. Too many loose ends.
  • Another good one..

This is a very good summer read. The cheese factor is low enough and the action good. A bit more character development for Court & the Poison Apple team adds to the intriguing end. An unresolved betrayal promises to be central in the next book. It is one that Court will not be able to forgive nor leave unrecompensed.
  • Great read. By far, Marks best book.

I was disappointed in the last effort. The conclusion was unworthy as a reset of the journey already told. I won’t spoil but thought the advanced detail and strategy to accomplish the helicopter segment was lacking as so many previous situations were so compelling. Laughable in retrospect to align the items so perfectly.

Pay attention. Many moving parts form quite a web. Credible? Perhaps, but a lot of fun.
