You know that you need to start investing, because you won't be able to work your whole life. You don't want to be the old employee working as a door greeter at your big chain department store. It will also be frustrating and very depressing if you are not financially aware of your future. Time seems to go faster the older you get and it's never too late to get started.

But getting started might be one of your problems. There is too much information available and too many scammers are trying to get you to invest in shady companies. You also don't have the time to figure everything out by yourself, because it might seem too hard and complicated.

However, getting the investing part of your life handled will improve your life tremendously. You will have peace of mind when you think about your future and you will also have the confidence to make sound investing decisions. You'll also have the knowledge to talk intelligently with your peers and financial advisors, making it easy to spot when someone is giving you wrong information.

I begin with the basics, like what are stocks and how the stock market works. I then transition into how you can make money in the stock market, give you some stocks you should have on your watch list and some of the lies and mistakes you will have to deal with as an investor.

So, don't wait and get this book now.

As a beginner, this was great. Lots of good information and ideas as well as resources. Motivates one to move forward and do their research toward building their financial future. Good one for my library.
  • It’s okay

The book goes over the basics basics. The one thing I had a problem with about the book was that the author kept repeating certain sentences way to much. The thing he was repeating wasn’t at all important, it was just his opinion. But eh, it’s decent
  • Pretty good

  • good basic book

it has a lot of introductory information about investing. however, it could be more organized by having subtopics in each chapter. it also has some typo errors. but, other than that, it is very informative and it will get you at least started.
  • Great investing book.

I love this book. I just bought a lot of free books in various topics and this was the very book I read because I’m thinking about investing in stocks but I don’t have any known in how to go about it. So I’m excited about investing but I’m going to do some more research on investing and get more deep detailed info on a lot of terms and options and strategy. This book made me feel confident and I feel it has like a great amount of very useful and smart information. I will be reading other books by this same author. I’m actually going to re-read this book again just so I can absorb the knowledge in it more thoroughly because I’m the type to pay attention to details. Thanks for writing this book, it’s good to know there are positive influencers out in the world.

Decided to give this book a read and frankly I wasn’t disappointed. I did learn a lot and liked the way how things were explained and broken down into simpler terms. Makes you really analyze yourself on which approach to take when investing.

I typically fall asleep reading investing books, but this one was different! It was very engaging and equally informing. The real world examples really helped give context and explain the concepts and jargon. This was definitely beginner friendly and a great introduction into investing!
