  • Growing pains in leadership

    By Joe B. Stewart
“It’s what you learn after you know it all that truly matters,” was a favorite maxim of John Wooden. Matt Doherty’s humble look back from being at the top of his profession as national coach of the year to losing his dream job at his alma mater is a unique and powerful perspective. His journey to becoming better rather than bitter while dealing with triggers along that path is instructive food for serious leaders willing to acknowledge errors and improve as a result. This book is full of leadership nuggets packaged in a very human story of faith and perseverance. Well done, Matt.
