"Coraline discovered the door a little while after they moved into the house. . . ."

When Coraline steps through a door to find another house strangely similar to her own (only better), things seem marvelous.

But there's another mother there, and another father, and they want her to stay and be their little girl. They want to change her and never let her go.

Coraline will have to fight with all her wit and courage if she is to save herself and return to her ordinary life.

Celebrating ten years of Neil Gaiman's first modern classic for young readers, this edition is enriched with a brand-new foreword from the author, a reader's guide, and more.

  • Inspiring and suspenseful

One of the first Niel Gaiman books my dad gave me to read. That was a special edition with Chris Riddell drawings! Doubly scary and totallaly recommend! Read it when I was maybe 9 years old and absolutely loved it. Always enjoy all of Niel Gaiman‘s books. I especially liked the messages of bravery and love. Really well thought out and suspenseful.
  • Best Book I’ve Ever Read!! 💖💝

This has always been my favorite movie! Reading the book definitely was different, there was a lot of parts that weren’t even in the movie and that’s a letdown. I liked reading this before bed to help me sleep, I was reading the part where Coraline was in the cellar with the “other father”. I had a hard time sleeping let alone putting the book down. That bit was very suspenseful especially when he was tipping his head to the side listening. Altogether this book was amazing and I’m looking forward to getting a couple new books from Neil Galman!!! 💕

I have read this book so many times and each time it was more and more amazingly wonderful than the last reading!! True, it may freak some out but that's decently the best parts!! If your looking for a suspenseful, mystery than you can stop looking.❤️

I have watched the movie, and I am 100% sure I don't want to watch it again. Cos it's bad? No!! It's amazing, and so scary. You just have to watch it. But read the book first. So you will be prepared :D I recommend this book to anyone 8-up. Surprisingly it's very creepy, but interesting. The movie, 8- and up too possibly.

When I was in the 4th grade my teacher read it 2 me. It was good but we didn't finish it. But the movie is exactly the same! But the other father (in the movie) isn't horrible like the other mother. Anyways it's a great book just like the movie! I love and u will <3 it to! <3=luv
