This is another set of challenging or interesting probability problems, all of totally different types from those in the 1st set: 115 Challenging and Interesting Probability Problems for High School and University Students and Teachers with Solutions. The background knowledge, theories, formulas and skills are mostly covered in high school/college or 1st year university maths subjects. Most of the 128 problems can be solved by hand using an elementary scientific calculator, some hard problems can be solved by using the formula functions of Microsoft’s Excel or a good graphics calculator such as TI-Nspire, and a few very challenging problems need some special computing tools and programming codes. Although most problems can be solved within half an hour, some hard problems may require hours or even days of time to find out a solution and compute the required probability. These problems can be used in teaching examinations, mathematics competitions, analytical and computing skill assessment, or even job application interviews or tests, hence I hope this book will be helpful to high school and university students, teachers, lecturers, researchers and professors.
